This quiz focuses on verbs + prepositions as in look up a word, get over an illness, etc.
Ex: Look up the word. Just use an online dictionary to look it up.
These verbs with particles are very common, but very idiomatic. For this reason a link to an online dictionary is included to offer precise definitions and various examples of their usage. Enter both the verb and its particle(s) in the dictionary search box. For example, enter the words 'look up' to find its meaning, and not just 'look.'
